White Sage
White Sage (Salvia apiana) is a shrub native to the chaparral regions of Southern California and the southwestern United States. You might know it as the bundles of sage you would use to cleanse your home of negative energy. I've used the fragrant leaves in this soap for their powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, making this unscented soap perfect for sensitive skin, as well as skin suffering from eczema,.psoriasis or other general dermatitis. The darker portion of this soap is ground white sage leaves that offer gentle exfoliation of your skin. There are no additional essential oils used in this soap for scent, but you will be able to smell a faint scent of the white sage, which smells so clean and refreshing.
