Oceania Soap with Purslane

Purslane soap was made with organic purslane that grows wild in my garden. The green coloring is naturally derived from the plant and made stable with alfalfa powder and French Green Clay, which has additional skin detoxifying properties. This soap is wonderful on irritated skin, sunburns, and skin afflicted with acne. It has a beachy scent created with Eucalyptus, Cedarwood, Lemongrass and Rosemary essential oils.

Purslane is an edible plant that contains greater amounts of Omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamins C and E, and beta carotene than spinach. Purslane also contains antioxidants in the coloring of the stems and leaves, which have antimutagenic properties that prevent cell mutation and are essential in protecting our skin cells. It helps to reduce inflammation and stimulates detoxification, which makes it a winner in soap.

Saponified plant oils: (Olive, Coconut, Mango Butter, Avocado, Castor, and Sunflower), Purslane, French Green Clay, Alfalfa Powder, Essential Oil Blend of Eucalyptus, Cedarwood, Lemongrass and Rosemary

*To extend the life of your soap, keep it away from water and allow to dry between uses.
