Mt. Baldy Hand and Body Soap

Mt. Baldy Hand and Body Soap represents Mt. San Antonio, the tallest peak in the San Gabriel Mountains. At 10,066 feet, the top of the mountain is bare. There's no vegetation (hence, the nickname Mt. Baldy), and the views span to Downtown Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean to the west, the desert cities to the east, the Cucamonga Valley to the south, and a rolling landscape of hills and mountains to the north . Hiking to the top of the summit is a spiritual experience that can sometimes challenge the mind and the body, but once you get to the top, the celebrating begins! It's one of my favorite hikes.
For this soap, I used titanium dioxide for the white portion representing the clouds. When the valley below is cloudy, you are always above the clouds once you reach the summit. A blend of Spinach Powder, Spirulina, and French Green Clay color the green portion representing the forest. These three natural colorants contain skin loving vitamins and have anti-inflammatory and skin healing properties. Indigo powder colors the portion that represents the sky.
Scented with a fresh and earthy scent using a blend of Fir Needle, Orange, Grapefruit, Pine and Lemongrass Essential Oils, it smells like fresh forest air.
