The Queen's Water Botanical Facial Toner

The story goes that the aging Elizabeth, Queen of Hungary, commanded the court alchemist to create an elixir that would restore her youth. His creation, called Queen of Hungary Water, was so potent that her youth was restored and a 25-year old duke asked for her hand in marriage when she was in her 70's.

While my version of this botanical facial toner will not reverse aging as drastically as it did for the queen, The Queen's Water will leave your skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. Ten botanicals balance the skin's pH, tighten pores, and reduce redness and inflammation. Rose hydrosol offers anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, while orange blossom hydrasol contains antioxidants that aid skin elasticity and brightness. Use this to refresh and revitalize your skin, leaving it soft, smooth and radiant. The water is naturally tinted a gentle pink from hibiscus and has a delicate, uplifting floral scent.

Keep it in the refrigerator and spritz on the face to cool and rejuvenate tired skin on a warm day or to refresh dry skin on a winter day. The Queen's Water makes an excellent base layer spritzed on the face prior to applying moisturizer.
